Flux was created inside of Google X with a mission to improve the quality of buildings worldwide. By using technology to remove barriers between owners, designers, engineers, builders and suppliers Flux offers a platform for unlocking new efficiencies in building design. Although we are a young technology, Flux is already used on some of the largest and most complex construction projects worldwide.

Description

At Flux, product managers are customer focused. We build bold, beautiful and functional solutions that change the way buildings are designed and constructed.

As a product manager you will lead a world-class team, developing apps that are used by architects, engineers and construction experts on a daily basis. You’ll be on the frontier of our industry, applying cloud-based technologies in apps that improve the speed and quality of building. Working with a larger team of product managers, you’ll represent the builder and owner perspective, and advocate for improvements that strengthen the overall value proposition of our platform.

Responsibilities

• Grow adoption of Flux among builders and owners during the preconstruction and construction phases of a project
• Work with an internal rapid prototyping team to explore new ways of applying the Flux Digital Building platform in large scale construction projects
• Help the software development team prioritize and deliver high-impact features
• Partner with sales and marketing to take your apps to market, educate users, and keep a pulse on evolving customer needs
• Monitor the health of your initiatives by designing, monitoring and reporting on key success metrics

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a product management, or product leadership role
• Experience with cloud-based software and services
• Eye for design and a laser-like focus on the customer
• Demonstrated ability to articulate and implement meaningful change through technology
• Result oriented, with a tendency to experiment and find a path to success without excuses

Strongly Desired

• Experience working on behalf of a general contractor as a contributor or technology leader
• Experience working in teams that have applied advanced 3D coordination processes
• Working knowledge of estimation, bidding, 4D BIM or field operations
